credco corporation headquarters
Located in the hot and arid environment of the east San Diego County foothills, this three building corporate campus was conceived as an "oasis' and is planned to create a shaded and cool environment for the corporate employees and visitors. The first phase includes two buildings, each two stories in height totaling 153,200 SF. The buildings are organized around a "palm grove court" providing shaded parking for all of visitors and some employees. All building entries are defined by two-story high shaded arcades with two story lobbies, providing a sun exposure gradient change as one passes from the exterior to the interior. A large fountain simulating the flow of water from a mountain feed creek marks the administration building's entry and provides an aire of relief to the pedestrians entering the building.
